2023 Renovations
Hawksbill Renovations & Management Changes
The management of the Resort has been taken over by Caribbean Beach Cottage Collection, an Antiguan Hospitality Management Group currently operating Cocos Hotel and Keyonna Beach Resort on the Island. Chairman and Brand Pioneer, Andrew Michelin, is a seasoned Caribbean resort operator with over 40 years of experience managing resorts in Jamaica, St. Lucia, and Antigua. Apart from successfully establishing and operating his own Antiguan resorts in Cocos and Keyonna, he was also instrumental in the founding of other major resorts on the Island including Cocobay and Hermitage Bay Resorts. In fact, he was the inaugural General Manager of the Hawksbill Resort when it first opened in the 1980s.
The new management team acknowledges that Hawksbill Resort is blessed with one of the most magical beachfront locations anywhere in the world. However, it has been let down by years of neglect and inadequate maintenance of core infrastructure that are critical to guest comfort and enjoyment.
We have therefore set about our task of revitalizing this gem of a hotel by fixing all the bits and pieces that have been broken and by adding amenities, services and facilities that are essential for acceptable levels of guest satisfaction.
We recognize that Hawksbill, despite the issues it has faced in the past, maintains a very loyal cadre of customers who love its enviable location and simple charm and are attracted to its historically affordable pricing. We therefore have no intention to dramatically change the resort's price point or to otherwise alienate those who have given unwavering support to the property over the years. We do however intend that when you return to the resort you will be pleasantly surprised by the improvements, and for that be willing to spend just a fraction more so as to ensure the future growth and financial stability of the Resort.
Hawksbill will continue to be a solid mid-range All Inclusive Property but without the niggles and inconveniences that have affected visitors in the past.
The Resort Management and Staff would like to thank all past guests for their patience and support over the years and we look forward to welcoming you back this October.
